The Jackson YMCA has secured four properties, all adjacent to the existing YMCA facility and parking lot. The property closings give the YMCA the additional square footage it needs to build a new facility on the expanded footprint.

American 1 Credit Union's Step to the Beat 5k kicks off the 2021 Henry Ford Allegiance Health Run/Walk series! American 1 invites the community to help raise funds for the American Heart Association in partnership with Henry Ford Allegiance Health and the Jackson YMCA. This virtual walk/run is June 14-30 and is designed so that you have enough to time sign up and then train for the 5K - even if you don't think you can walk/run one today! Follow the event on Facebook for a series of training videos provided by the Jackson YMCA to help you train.
By alternating running and walking for 30 minutes a day, three times a week, you can complete your first 5K in six weeks, or better your current time!
