Access & Parking Informaton for Habitat Blitz Build Planned August 16-20
The Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity is holding Blitz Build Week, Aug. 16-20. This event will raise and enclose two houses in the DeLand Point Neighborhood on Franklin St., adjacent to the current parking lot on the corners of W. Franklin St., S. Mechanic St., and W. Mason St. Franklin St. will be closed during the build. Read more at the link below for what to expect that week.

More than child care, the Jackson Y after-school program nurtures the potential of every child. Kids cultivate the values, skills and relationships that result in positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.
- Monday-Friday for Y5 - 5th grade
- Busing from select elementary schools available
- Drop-in available starting at 3:30 pm
- Snack, STEM, games, swimming & more
Tonia White of American 1 Credit Union has joined the Jackson YMCA Board of Directors. White, who brings 30 years of leadership experience to the Y, is Chief Employee Experience Officer for A1CU. The Y is excited to welcome Tonia to the board.
The Y’s architect/engineers Bergmann PC has completed the design work on a roughly 75,000-square-foot new facility. With the completion comes the build timeline and next steps.
