Facilities Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Facilities Director at the Jackson YMCA intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined while also overseeing the maintenance of YMCA facilities and vehicles.

Member Services Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Member Services Representative manages the front desk operations and related membership administrative duties. The right candidate will build a positive first impression with a warm smile and personal greeting, maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Member services representatives engage with members and guests building a collaborative relationship by prioritizing member needs. 

Summer Camp Counselors

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. This position intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined. YMCA Summer Camp team members will have the opportunity to experience working on a team, lead and direct groups of children, provide support and encouragement to all campers, serve as a role models, and make a difference in the community.

Lifeguard

POSITION SUMMARY:

Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. Must be a strong swimmer, have lifeguard certification or willing to become certified.

Bus Driver

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the School-age Coordinator, the bus driver will drive for the summer camp participants. Trips are local, out of town and possibly out of state. This position will be responsible to get the buses to and from all programs, events and commitments on time in in a safe manor. Applicants must have a CDL license, hold a current C.P.R./A.E.D and first aid certification or willingness to obtain it, possess a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED and a minimum 1 year driving experience on a bus.
